Graduate Aspiring Educational Psychologist (Term‑time, Day Rate)

About the role
This graduate position supports children with severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviours in a specialist school near Dorking. Working alongside a multidisciplinary therapy team, you will gain hands‑on experience in educational psychology within a term‑time, day‑rate contract.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils, planning activities that match individual abilities.
- Encourage development of social skills and deliver academic and pastoral assistance.
- Collaborate closely with speech, occupational and physiotherapy staff to integrate therapeutic approaches across the curriculum.
- Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents and external professionals.
Required profile
- Passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
- Ability to build confidence, motivation and robust relationships with students.
- Calm and resilient in stressful or conflict‑filled situations.
- Compassionate, good listener with strong interpersonal skills.
- Legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
