Graduate Assistant Project Manager – Birmingham

About the role

RLB is seeking a Graduate Assistant Project Manager to join its Birmingham team. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from concept through design, construction and operational hand‑over, while receiving mentorship from chartered professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular liaison with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure clear communication.
• Support procurement processes and assist senior and associate project managers.
• Handle contract administration and manage project data.
• Coordinate the wider project team, plan and track key tasks and milestones.
• Monitor progress and cost, produce reports and attend site visits and project meetings.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in a Built Environment discipline or a similar technical field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective time management, proactive mindset and commitment to exceptional client service.
• Team‑player able to build relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
