Graduate Design & Structural Engineer – £28k-30k

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Design & Structural Engineer to join a well‑established design and manufacturing business serving the oil and petrochemical sectors. This full‑time position offers the chance to develop practical engineering skills while working on bespoke solutions from concept to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 3D modelling and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
• Carry out FEA simulations and calculations for structural analysis.
• Liaise closely with customers to interpret product specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare accurate quotations for client proposals.
• Manage projects from initial contact through to final delivery.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related design discipline.
• Experience with FEA and CAD modelling software.
• Based within a commutable distance of St Helens, Merseyside.
• Strong communication skills.
