Graduate Electrical Engineer – Water Industry (Chelmsford)

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering who is eager to start a career in the water sector. Based in Chelmsford, you will join a consultancy delivering projects for the Thames Water framework, receiving full training and hands‑on site experience from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of water industry projects across multiple sites.
• Assist with design, installation, commissioning and testing activities.
• Attend site visits 2‑3 days per week alongside senior engineers.
• Produce technical reports and project documentation while learning industry standards and safety practices.

Required profile

• Graduate (or HND) in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in the water or infrastructure sector.
• Willingness to learn and develop practical engineering skills.
