Graduate Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our Glasgow office. The successful candidate will have recently graduated with a civil engineering degree and possess strong maths abilities. You will work closely with the Sales and Engineering teams to turn customer enquiries into practical, profitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Convert customer and sales enquiries into detailed drawings and quotations for RMDK equipment on hire or sale.
• Support order fulfilment by producing final drawings, cost estimates, progress paperwork and managing variations.
• Work under the guidance of the Engineering Manager and senior staff, collaborating with the Sales Team.
• Seek assistance from other engineering staff for product calculations and applications when required.
• Ensure all work complies with RMDK BSEN ISO procedures and internal quality‑assurance standards.
• Take proactive responsibility for health and safety matters within RMDK.
• Engage in continuous learning of RMDK and civil‑engineering methodologies under the Chief Engineer’s direction.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a civil engineering degree.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow guidance from senior engineers.
• Proactive attitude towards health and safety.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
