Graduate Environmental, Health & Safety Support (AGGP2027)

About the role

Airbus is looking for a recent university graduate to join its Global Graduate Programme as a Graduate Environmental, Health & Safety Support. Over a two‑year fixed‑term placement you will develop technical and leadership skills while contributing to Airbus’s sustainability and safety objectives at RAF Brize Norton.

Key responsibilities

• Support workplace inspections, audits and environmental assessments.
• Identify hazards, assess risks and monitor corrective actions.
• Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, near‑misses and environmental events.
• Develop and review risk assessments, procedures and safe systems of work.
• Collect, analyse and present EHS performance data and produce dashboards, reports and awareness material.
• Support environmental initiatives such as waste management, resource efficiency and impact reduction.
• Contribute to health, safety and environmental campaigns and employee engagement activities.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, company requirements and management‑system standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, facilities, logistics and business support teams.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Sustainability, Engineering, Science or related field.
• Recent graduate or early‑career experience in EHS.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Desire to work collaboratively and drive innovation.
• Self‑awareness and motivation to take ownership of personal development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word (Microsoft 365).
• Experience using Google Sheets, Slides and Docs (Google Workspace).
