Graduate Finance Assistant

About the role

This entry‑level Finance Assistant position is designed for recent graduates eager to start a career in accounting and finance. You will join a dynamic finance team in London, supporting daily financial operations while gaining hands‑on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices, payments and expense claims.
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and help resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Enter journal entries and update accounting systems.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies.
• Offer general administrative support to the finance department.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Recent graduate or up to one year of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
