Graduate Financial Operations Analyst

About the role

Join a modern Payments & Settlements team as a Graduate Financial Operations Analyst. You will support high‑value transaction processing, reconciliations and financial controls while gaining exposure to FX, cryptocurrency trading and treasury systems.

Key responsibilities

• Process and release payments via treasury management systems and online banking platforms.
• Monitor and reconcile daily payment activity to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate payment queries, including recalls, tracers and rejected payments.
• Support settlement of transactions and help resolve discrepancies.
• Produce reconciliations and maintain Excel‑based reporting and tracking tools.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payment operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Assist with project work and provide support to the wider Operations team as needed.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (up to 18 months) or up to two years’ experience in finance, payments, banking, treasury or financial operations.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Analytical mindset with a strong desire to learn and solve problems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams.
• Proactive attitude with genuine interest in financial markets, payments or fintech.
• Previous exposure to FX, payment processing or financial services is advantageous but not essential.
