Graduate Health & Safety Consultant – Bristol

About the role

As a recent graduate you will help embed safety at the heart of construction projects, supporting clients to meet legal and regulatory standards. You will gain hands‑on experience in risk identification, mitigation and the delivery of safer built environments while working towards chartered status.

Key responsibilities

• Provide health and safety advisory services, guiding clients on CDM, Building Safety Act and Building Regulations compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and on‑site safety audits, documenting hazards such as working at heights and asbestos.
• Prepare and maintain health and safety documentation to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to embed safety practices into project planning.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in health and safety and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent observational skills, attention to detail and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).
• Understanding of the Building Safety Act (BSA) and related building regulations.
• Ability to perform risk assessments and site safety audits.
• Experience with health and safety documentation and reporting.
