Graduate Learning Assistant (Sept 2026) – Secondary School

About the role
This position supports pupils in a mainstream secondary school in Wembley, helping them achieve their GCSE targets. You will work closely with teachers and teaching assistants, delivering one‑to‑one and small‑group sessions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide targeted learning support for pupils up to GCSE level.
- Collaborate with teachers and teaching assistants to plan and deliver sessions.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual pupil needs.
- Observe pupil progress and record observations for teachers.
- Implement instructional activities as directed by the class teacher.
Required profile
- Degree (preferably in a mainstream curriculum subject such as English, Maths, Science, French, History, etc.).
- Previous experience working with children.
- Understanding of special educational needs or learning difficulties.
- Enthusiastic, creative approach to learning.
- High level of professionalism.
