About the role
We are seeking a motivated graduate to join a specialist SEND school in Sittingbourne. The role provides direct support to students with social and emotional needs during regular school hours, Monday to Friday. This is a full‑time, temporary position offering hands‑on experience in a supportive educational environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist students with social and emotional development throughout the school day.
- Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individualized support plans.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support as required.
Required profile
- Recent graduate eager to start a career in education.
- Energetic, patient and resourceful.
- Strong interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
- Willingness to work on‑site during standard school hours.
Required skills
