Graduate Legal Internship

About the role

The Walt Disney Company is offering a 12‑month Graduate Legal Internship in London. Interns will join one of several specialised legal teams – Disney+ Legal & Technology, Searchlight Pictures Studio Production, Disney Consumer Products, or Studio & Direct‑to‑Consumer – and gain hands‑on experience supporting commercial, regulatory, intellectual‑property and technology matters across the entertainment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, vendor contracts and licensing documents.
• Support regulatory and consumer‑law compliance projects, including AI and technology‑related matters for Disney+.
• Provide legal support throughout film‑production cycles, from development to release, for Searchlight Pictures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Strategic Sourcing, Facilities, HR and product teams to ensure legal alignment.
• Contribute to legal information‑management and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current law student or recent graduate (LLB or equivalent) with a strong academic record.
• Interest in entertainment, media, technology or intellectual‑property law.
• Willingness to work four days per week on‑site in a London office and one remote day.
• Ability to work across international teams and adapt to occasional out‑of‑hours calls.
