About the role

Join the Options Market Data Team in Cambridge as a Graduate Market Data Engineer. You will be the front‑line for a global market data platform, ensuring real‑time and historical data delivery remains reliable. This hands‑on role blends server monitoring, API support and Linux administration in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Providing front‑line support to clients integrating real‑time market data APIs.
• Monitoring a global estate of servers and network devices, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Building strong client relationships through regular engagement and support.
• Assisting with onboarding and certification of new market data feeds and client integrations.
• Contributing to incident reviews by documenting root causes and preventative actions.

Required profile

• A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems or a strong desire to learn.
• Scripting experience in Python or Bash, including personal projects or academic work.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/UDP and DNS.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with clients effectively.
• Analytical mindset with a methodical approach to problem‑solving.
