Graduate Opportunity - Junior Cost Manager

About the role

This graduate position offers full training to become a Junior Cost Manager within the construction sector. You will support project teams by monitoring financial performance and helping to prevent overspend.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse project costs by reviewing material and labour rates.
• Prepare and present detailed cost reports, highlighting budget variances.
• Forecast future project expenses using historical data and market trends.
• Value vendor work, manage monthly payments and assist with tender documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to ensure cost alignment with market values.
• Participate in project meetings to provide cost‑related updates and advice.

Required profile

• Personable, confident and highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive and analytical, able to take ownership of project commercial data.
• Strong numeracy and communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
