About the role
Our client, a provider of bespoke product solutions for the consumer goods sector, is seeking a Graduate Product Design Engineer to join their East Sussex team on a permanent basis. You will take projects from initial concept through to manufacture, using SolidWorks to create innovative designs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop ideas from concept to production, including sketching and modelling.
- Create 3D models and physical prototypes.
- Conduct market research and collaborate with clients to incorporate feedback.
- Apply design for manufacture principles across all stages.
- Utilise various manufacturing processes to bring designs to life.
Required profile
- Design‑related degree (Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or similar).
- Strong technical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
- Understanding of design for manufacture.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other 3D CAD software.
- Ability to create detailed models and prototypes.
What we offer
- Permanent contract with a salary range of £27,000‑£37,000 per annum.
