About the role
We are looking for a recent Quantity Surveying graduate or junior QS to join our multidisciplinary construction and civil engineering team in Stanley, North East England. The role offers structured training, mentorship and the chance to work on a variety of construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and project budgets.
- Support the preparation of tenders and contract documentation.
- Monitor project costs and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Attend site visits and project meetings.
- Ensure commercial compliance and profitability of projects.
- Produce reports and maintain accurate project records.
Required profile
- Graduate or junior Quantity Surveyor.
- Commutable to Stanley.
- Full driving licence.
Required skills
- Cost estimating.
- Tender preparation.
- Project cost monitoring.
- Report writing.
