Graduate Recruitment Consultant – Commodities & Trading

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join our specialist executive search team focused on global commodities, energy trading and shipping markets. Based in London, you will work with leading trading houses and investment firms to place senior professionals across trading, risk, commercial, operations and supply‑chain functions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with international clients on retained executive‑search assignments in commodities, energy, shipping and supply‑chain sectors.
• Identify, approach and engage senior‑level candidates through detailed market mapping and head‑hunting.
• Develop deep market knowledge to act as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and placement.
• Maintain accurate records in the firm’s CRM system and provide regular progress updates.

Required profile

• University degree or proven experience in a sales or customer‑facing role.
• Confident communicator able to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Commercially driven, resilient and motivated by uncapped earning potential.
• Interest in building a long‑term career in executive search within a high‑value, international market.

• £28,000 base salary plus uncapped commission (up to 35%); Year‑1 OTE around £45,000.
