Graduate Sales Professional – Mental Health Employment Support

About the role
We are looking for a recent graduate who wants to combine a commercial mindset with a strong social conscience. Working for a national mental health charity, you will use the evidence‑based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) framework to help people with mental health needs find and keep meaningful employment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver IPS‑based support to clients, meeting them in community venues such as cafés and libraries.
- Manage your own diary, conduct outreach to 5‑6 employers each week, and advocate for client job opportunities.
- Coach candidates through applications, interview preparation and disclosure conversations about reasonable adjustments.
- Collaborate directly with NHS mental‑health clinicians to ensure coordinated, person‑centred support.
- Maintain accurate caseload notes, compliance records and employment tracking within standard office hours.
Required profile
- Any university degree (humanities, business, social sciences, arts, etc.).
- Demonstrated empathy and a strong social conscience.
- Early‑career experience in sales, telesales, recruitment or account management.
- Ability to work independently, stay organised and meet targets in a fast‑paced environment.
