Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Knightsbridge

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a prestigious secondary school in Knightsbridge. The role runs Monday‑Friday, 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, on a full‑time, term‑time basis, supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) in Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with SEN and EHCP.
• Assist teachers in delivering the KS3/KS4 curriculum and preparing students for GCSEs.
• Observe pupil progress, record observations and implement teacher‑directed interventions.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and promote academic attainment.
• Collaborate with other teaching assistants and staff to maintain a supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Degree (or pursuing a degree) in a core subject such as English, Maths, Science or Humanities.
• Experience working with children and a clear understanding of SEN principles.
• Enthusiastic, creative approach to learning and high levels of professionalism.
• Commitment to supporting pupils up to GCSE level.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SEN frameworks and EHCP processes.
• Familiarity with the KS3/KS4 curriculum.
