About the role

We are seeking a Graduate Site Engineer to join a leading infrastructure contractor on a flagship scheme in the South West. This role offers the chance to work on one of the UK’s most complex, regulated infrastructure projects, supporting safety and construction accuracy on‑site.

Key responsibilities

Oversight & Compliance – ensure all site activities follow Safe Systems of Work, RAMS and permit controls.
Technical Management – review drawings, update site CAD files and raise technical queries, RFIs and non‑conformances.
Coordination – chair subcontractor meetings and manage daily site interfaces.
Progress Tracking – monitor short‑term schedules, record daily activities with diaries and photos.
Handover – compile and complete the documentation required for final project handover.

Required profile

1‑2+ years of site engineering experience.
Degree, HND or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Valid CSCS card and SMSTS/IOSH certification.

Required skills

Proficiency in MS Office.
Basic CAD skills (including BIM).
Familiarity with Primavera P6 or Aphex scheduling (preferred).
