About the role
We are looking for a Graduate Software Engineer to join a fast‑growing specialist consultancy in Newcastle. The team works on high‑impact projects for finance and defence clients across the UK, offering you the chance to develop your skills alongside senior engineers from top trading firms.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems using modern programming languages.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver solutions for finance and defence projects.
- Engage with customers nationwide to understand requirements and provide technical support.
- Travel across the UK as needed to support project delivery.
Required profile
- STEM degree from a university ranked within the top 300 QS list.
- Experience with any backend programming language (C, C++, Rust, or Java).
- Willingness to relocate to Newcastle and travel throughout the UK.
