About the role

This full‑time Graduate Teaching Assistant position is based in an outstanding secondary school in Ealing, West London. It offers recent graduates a valuable classroom experience and a clear pathway towards qualified teacher training.

Key responsibilities

• Support students during lessons on a 1:1, small‑group and whole‑class basis.
• Work alongside experienced teachers within your specialist subject area.
• Deliver targeted intervention sessions to raise attainment.
• Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teaching staff.
• Encourage confidence, independence and engagement in learning.
• Assist students with varying learning needs across the school.

Required profile

• High‑achieving graduate with a degree in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, PE, Computer Science or a related subject.
• Strong enthusiasm for education and a desire to develop a long‑term teaching career.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
