About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for ambitious graduates to join a high‑achieving secondary academy in Havering as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. The role provides hands‑on classroom experience across Key Stages 3‑5 during term‑time, supporting the school’s commitment to academic excellence and pastoral care.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group interventions for KS3, KS4 and KS5 students.
- Support student engagement, monitor progress and help improve attainment.
Required profile
- Degree‑level qualification.
- Passion for education and supporting young people.
- Right to work in the UK.
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional references.
