Graduate Teaching Assistant – KS1 Small Group & SEN Support

About the role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will work in a primary school setting, supporting young learners both one‑to‑one and in small groups. You will lead a dedicated nurture group for SEN pupils, creating a calm and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Guide KS1 students in developing confidence and curiosity.
- Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group instruction.
- Run a nurture group for SEN pupils, providing tailored support.
- Assist classroom teachers in daily lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Uphold the school’s values of fairness, compassion, and community.
Required profile
- Patient, resilient and kind.
- Proactive, quick learner with a passion for education.
- Enjoys teamwork and shows up with purpose each day.
- Experience supporting primary‑aged children; NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance is a plus.
- Eagerness to continue learning and develop professionally.
Required skills

- Daily rate between £100‑£110 inclusive of holiday pay.
