About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support a mainstream primary school in Elephant and Castle, London. The role runs from September 2026 to July 2027, offering full‑time, term‑time hours within a supportive senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities

Assist the class teacher in daily classroom activities.
Help prepare and organise lesson materials.
Support pupils with individual and group tasks.
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

University degree (BA or MA).
Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS with online update service or willingness to obtain one.
Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
