About the role
Remedy Education is seeking enthusiastic graduates to join a welcoming primary school in Newham as Graduate Teaching Assistants. This full‑time, temporary‑to‑permanent position offers a full academic year of hands‑on classroom experience, supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2.
Key responsibilities
- Assist class teachers in delivering lessons and small‑group activities.
- Provide one‑to‑one support for pupils in maths, English, reading, writing, phonics and interventions.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and support pupils with SEN or additional needs.
- Contribute to the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Required profile
- Hold a degree or be due to graduate.
- Genuine interest in becoming a teacher.
- Strong communication skills and reliability.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Willingness to work with children from diverse backgrounds.
