About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic graduate to join a primary school in Wandsworth as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the academic year September 2026 – July 2027. The role provides full training and a pathway to the school’s direct teacher‑training programme.

Key responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in a Year 5 classroom on a term‑time basis.
• Assist pupils with special educational needs, ensuring inclusive progress.
• Help prepare learning materials and manage classroom activities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and teaching staff to deliver a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in any subject.
• Some experience working with children (paid or voluntary).
