Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking recent graduates to join primary schools in the Clacton‑on‑Sea area as Graduate Teaching Assistants. This full‑time, term‑time position offers the chance to gain hands‑on classroom experience before commencing teacher training.
Key responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons and managing daily activities.
- Assist pupils with learning tasks, providing additional help where needed.
- Help maintain a safe and organised learning environment.
- Contribute to the preparation of teaching resources and classroom materials.
Required profile
- Degree (2:1 or above) in any subject.
- GCSE English and Maths grade C or above.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
