Graduate Teaching Assistant – Psychology Graduate (Full‑time)

About the role

This full‑time Graduate Teaching Assistant position is designed for recent Psychology graduates who want hands‑on experience in secondary schools across Croydon and South London. You will work directly with students, supporting learning and behaviour while gaining insight into child development within a classroom setting.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils across Key Stages 3‑5 with 1:1 and small‑group interventions.
• Assist teachers in lesson delivery, classroom management and behaviour support.
• Provide targeted help for students with additional learning needs (SEND) where required.
• Help create a positive learning environment and remove barriers to student progress.

Required profile

• A degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Genuine interest in education, child development and behaviour.
• Proactive, reliable and professional attitude toward supporting learning.
