Graduate Teaching Assistant (Psychology Graduate)

About the role
This full‑time temporary position is for Psychology graduates who want hands‑on experience in secondary schools across Sutton and South West London. You will work alongside teachers to support pupils in Key Stages 3‑5, helping them overcome learning barriers and develop their potential.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small‑group interventions focused on behaviour, cognition and motivation.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, delivery and classroom management.
- Provide targeted support for students with SEND where required.
- Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff.
Required profile
- Degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience working with children or young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring) is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in education and child development.

- Daily rate of £95‑£120 (inclusive of holiday pay) depending on experience and responsibilities.
