About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for ambitious graduates to join a supportive secondary school in Redbridge, East London as Graduate Teaching Assistants. This term‑time, full‑time role offers hands‑on classroom experience across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, ideal for those considering a future teaching career.
Key responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering lessons for KS3, KS4 and KS5.
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group intervention to support student learning and engagement.
- Assist students with progress monitoring and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with teaching and support staff across departments.
- Gain practical classroom experience before undertaking teacher training.
Required profile
- Degree qualified.
- Good GCSE results.
- Passion for education and supporting young people.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional references.
