About the role
We are looking for a recent graduate to join a large, inclusive secondary school in Bracknell as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. You will be paid while you gain hands‑on experience supporting pupils across a range of subjects.
Key responsibilities
- Provide academic support in your subject area.
- Run small‑group interventions to boost student attainment.
- Support pupils with SEND to access the curriculum.
- Assist teachers across various subjects as required.
- Help maintain a positive learning environment using effective behaviour strategies.
Required profile
- Degree in any subject (essential).
- Calm, proactive and positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and genuine interest in education.
- Previous experience working with young people (desirable, not essential).
Required skills

- £550 per week (£26,400 per year) salary.
- On‑the‑job training and support towards gaining QTS.
