Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Liverpool)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic graduates to support a secondary school in Liverpool. This temporary, long‑term position offers the chance to work full‑time (8:30 am‑3:30 pm) alongside experienced teachers, helping students thrive academically and socially.
Key responsibilities
- Behaviour management – create a positive learning environment and address conduct issues.
- Providing emotional support – guide students dealing with personal stress or challenges.
- Monitoring well‑being – observe student health and report concerns to appropriate staff.
- Safeguarding – follow all safeguarding procedures and report any incidents.
- Collaboration – work closely with teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) registered with the online update service.
- At least two professional references covering the last 24 months.
