About the role
We are seeking a recent graduate with an outstanding academic record to join our primary school in Harrow and Ruislip as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. The role starts in September and offers the chance to support literacy and numeracy development in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 classrooms.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering literacy and numeracy lessons.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
- Monitor student progress and report observations to the class teacher.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Required profile
- Recent university graduate with a strong academic record.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
Required skills
- Basic proficiency with standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
