About the role

We are looking for recent graduates who are passionate about education to join our secondary school community near Godalming. This full‑time position offers hands‑on classroom experience, mentorship from experienced teachers, and a clear pathway toward teacher training.

Key responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning in classroom and small‑group settings across various subject departments.
• Receive high‑quality training and mentoring to develop pedagogical and behaviour‑management skills.
• Work alongside experienced staff to gain practical teaching experience.
• Progress onto a teacher‑training programme such as PGCE, School Direct, or a salaried route.

Required profile

• Hold (or be on track to achieve) a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Passionate about working with young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Committed, resilient, and eager to learn.
• No formal teaching experience required, just a willingness to grow and inspire.
