Graduate Town Planner – Cambridge

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Town Planner to join a leading planning consultancy in Cambridge. This full‑time position offers a supportive environment where a recent graduate can gain hands‑on experience across residential, mixed‑use and strategic land development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals.
• Conduct site appraisals and research planning policies.
• Support the drafting of planning statements and reports.
• Liaise with local authorities, clients and external consultants.
• Monitor updates to planning legislation and policy.

Required profile

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in achieving MRTPI accreditation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Proactive and professional attitude.
• Previous placement or internship experience is a plus.
