Graduate Trainee Accountant (Hybrid, Bristol)

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Trainee Accountant to join our growing practice in Bristol. This hybrid position (three days in the office) offers a recent graduate the chance to start a professional accounting career while studying towards an ACA or ACCA qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing statutory accounts for a variety of businesses.
• Support audit assignments and conduct fieldwork.
• Prepare personal and business tax returns.
• Help with bookkeeping and the production of management accounts.
• Compile working papers and supporting schedules.
• Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
• Provide support to senior team members on diverse client projects.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Motivation to pursue ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Internship, placement or relevant work experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
