Graduate Trainee Accountant

About the role
We are partnering with a well‑established chartered accountancy practice in Tonbridge to recruit a Graduate Trainee Accountant. This full‑time position offers a clear pathway to becoming a chartered accountant while you study for the ACA or ACCA.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of client accounts, tax returns and VAT filings.
- Support bookkeeping and management accounting tasks.
- Participate in audit engagements and ad‑hoc project work.
- Engage with a diverse client base across corporate, not‑for‑profit and other sectors.
Required profile
- 2:1 degree or higher in a finance‑related discipline (e.g., economics, mathematics, accounting, finance).
- Minimum grade C in English and Maths at A‑Level or GCSE.
Required skills
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
