Graduate Trainee Area Sales Manager

About the role

Join a fast‑paced graduate programme with two months of intensive training at the Avonmouth facility, followed by a field‑based Area Sales position covering the M5 corridor to Taunton and Swindon. You will work for a leading electrical products distributor, supporting B2B customers and building a foundation for a long‑term sales career.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a structured commercial training programme covering sales, account management and product knowledge.
• Develop relationships with electrical wholesalers and other B2B customers across the assigned territory.
• Identify new business opportunities and support existing accounts to achieve sales targets.
• Report on market activity, competitor insights and sales performance to the Business Manager.
• Progress to an Area Sales Manager role with a company car after successful training.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a strong interest in B2B sales and commercial development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated, ambitious and able to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
• Willingness to travel within the South West England region.
