Graduate Transport Planner – Consultancy Role

About the role

This graduate position offers a hands‑on introduction to transport planning within a well‑established consultancy. You will spend most of your time shadowing senior engineers, attend occasional site visits and collaborate with the design team on highway, drainage and environmental projects.

Key responsibilities

• Shadow senior team members to learn transport planning processes.
• Participate in occasional site visits to understand real‑world project constraints.
• Assist the design team in drawing and designing highways and related drainage solutions.
• Support environmental and urban planning aspects of transport projects.
• Undertake training and mentorship activities to develop technical competence.

Required profile

• Graduated in geography, civil engineering, transport planning, environmental science, urban planning or mathematics.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Enjoys teamwork and is motivated to progress a career in transport planning.
