Graduate/Junior Estimator – Manufacturing

About the role
We are seeking a Graduate or Junior Estimator to join a global electronics manufacturer based in Fordingbridge. The role is office‑based and offers a clear pathway into senior estimating positions, with comprehensive training and continuous shadowing.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate cost estimates.
- Source and compare supplier quotations to secure the best prices.
- Collaborate daily with Project Managers, Sales teams and Engineers to ensure estimates meet project requirements.
- Maintain records of estimates and supporting documentation.
Required profile
- Recent graduate or junior candidate eager to build a career in estimating.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong interest in electronics manufacturing and related sectors such as aerospace, medical and industrial.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel
What we offer
- Salary between £27,000 and £30,000 per annum.
- Flexible working hours, Monday‑Friday.
- 33 days holiday entitlement.
- Full training plan with ongoing shadowing and clear progression routes.
