Grants Compliance Officer

About the role

AmplifyChange is seeking a Grants Compliance Officer to manage the financial compliance of a portfolio of grants supporting sexual and reproductive health initiatives across Africa, South Asia and MENA. The role is hybrid, based in Bath with at least one day per week in the office, and offers the chance to work with French‑speaking partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial compliance for 100–120 active grants, reviewing budgets, financial reports and revisions.
• Provide feedback and guidance to grantee partners on financial management and grant compliance.
• Support due‑diligence and financial risk assessments for prospective and existing partners.
• Identify potential compliance risks or irregularities in financial documentation.
• Design and deliver webinars and capacity‑building sessions for partners.
• Collaborate with Grants, Finance, Operations, and Monitoring & Evaluation teams.
• Contribute to donor reporting and continuous improvement of grant management systems.

Required profile

• Organised, analytical and committed to effective grant management.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to work across teams.
• Fluency in spoken and written French is essential.
