Grants & Evaluation Officer

About the role

This role supports a growing grants programme within a well‑established healthcare charity that partners with an NHS Trust. You will work closely with internal teams and NHS partners to administer funding, guide applicants and help evaluate the impact of funded projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end grant process, from application intake to final evaluation.
• Provide guidance and support to grant applicants.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the charity and NHS.
• Monitor funded projects and assist with impact reporting.
• Maintain accurate grant records and databases.
• Prepare reports and help coordinate grant‑related events.
• Promote funding opportunities and encourage organisational engagement.

Required profile

• Previous experience in grants administration, project coordination or a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Experience monitoring projects or evaluating outcomes (advantageous).
• Confidence in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative approach.
• Interest in healthcare, charities or the public sector.
