Graphic Designer – 1 Day per Week (Temp to Perm)

About the role

Reed in Teesside is seeking a Graphic Designer to work on‑site one day per week for a well‑established construction organisation. This temporary position offers the chance to become permanent, making it ideal for freelancers or anyone looking to add a high‑profile project to their portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop visually engaging marketing and branding materials for digital channels, ensuring consistency across all communications.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support project campaigns, promotional activities and client‑facing presentations.
• Prepare artwork and design assets for production, meeting specifications and deadlines.
• Create visual content for social media, website updates, bid documents and corporate literature.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within construction, engineering, manufacturing or a related commercial sector.
• Strong creative ability with an eye for layout, branding, typography and visual presentation.
• Excellent organisational and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
• A portfolio demonstrating high‑quality design work across print and digital projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience using Figma.
• Familiarity with Canva.
