Ground Maintenance Operative

About the role

We are looking for reliable individuals to carry out grounds maintenance across a variety of outdoor sites. No prior experience is required if you are comfortable working outdoors and can follow health and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Grass cutting and strimming
• Hedge trimming and pruning
• Weed control and vegetation clearance
• Litter picking and general site upkeep
• Using hand tools and powered horticultural equipment
• Assisting with landscaping and grounds improvement works
• Maintaining equipment and adhering to health & safety guidelines

Required profile

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good work ethic and reliable attendance
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping or gardening experience is beneficial but not essential
• Availability for a 12‑week temporary role leading to permanent employment, up to 9 hours per day
