At our Airbus Defence and Space site in Corsham, we are seeking a highly credentialed Ground System Security Design Engineer to provide end‑to‑end protection for our critical Spacecraft Control Centre Systems and Satellite Communications infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end support to projects with regards to cyber security.
• Analyze functional needs, establish criticality levels, propose security protection concepts and manage project risks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of standards, regulations, governance and best practices.
• Manage end‑to‑end projects, tasks and deliverables in line with Airbus Business Processes.
• Coordinate activities of all actors and disciplines to fit the overall security architecture.
• Leverage knowledge of Spacecraft Control Centre Systems to ensure robust protection.
• Apply expertise in Satellite Communications infrastructures to secure critical data streams.

Required profile

• CISSP accreditation.
• CISM accreditation.
• Proven experience working within a secure environment.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Solaris, Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco infrastructures.
• Working knowledge of JSP440.
