About the role
We are looking for a reliable Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client’s team in Bridgwater. The role involves keeping parks, open spaces and recreational areas tidy, safe and attractive for the local community. You will be responsible for routine maintenance that enhances the appearance and usability of community spaces.
Key responsibilities
- Cut grass, trim hedges and perform strimming across various public sites.
- Maintain overall site cleanliness, including litter picking and general tidiness.
- Carry out planting, weeding and seasonal upkeep tasks.
- Inspect, clean and store maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Work collaboratively with other crews on larger maintenance projects.
Required profile
- Valid full driving licence.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Safety‑conscious attitude and responsible approach.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
