Grounds Maintenance Operative – Maidenhead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a professional tree surgery and grounds care company in Maidenhead. You will work outdoors, maintaining a variety of landscapes and supporting arboriculture projects while upholding high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Cutting grass, trimming edges and maintaining hedges.
• Operating and maintaining machinery such as chippers, stump grinders and mowers.
• Assisting tree surgery and arboriculture teams on site.
• Keeping the worksite tidy, safe and organised.
• Supporting fencing, landscaping and general estate maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a grounds person or similar role.
• Full UK driving licence; trailer entitlement is a plus.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures on site.
• Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.

Required skills

• Operation of chippers.
• Operation of stump grinders.
• Operation of mowers.
• Chainsaw handling and certification (desirable).
