Groundskeeper – Site Maintenance & Landscaping

About the role

Join Virtu Property, a specialist in soft services for residential properties, as a Groundskeeper based in Fareham. You will be responsible for maintaining the external areas of our sites, ensuring they are tidy, safe and visually appealing.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out day‑to‑day maintenance tasks and repairs as directed by the line manager.
• Inspect sites for emerging issues and report them appropriately.
• Follow a daily work plan to complete all scheduled tasks to a high standard within the allocated time.
• Pick up litter and perform general landscaping duties.
• Maintain the overall appearance of the site, leaving it clean and presentable.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a groundskeeper or in a similar maintenance role.
• Full, valid UK driving licence for travel between sites in Fareham and surrounding areas.
• PA1 and PA6 certificates for herbicide use are desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Herbicide handling competence (PA1/PA6 certification).
