About the role
This position involves maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard, ensuring they are safe, clean and attractive. You will work as part of a team on a full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday schedule at a site in Chertsey, Surrey.
Key responsibilities
- Grass cutting, strimming and hedge trimming.
- Digging and preparing ground for planting, landscaping, drainage and maintenance works.
- Planting, watering and maintaining trees, shrubs and flower beds.
- Litter picking and keeping outdoor areas clean.
- Assisting with fencing, paving and minor repairs.
- Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment.
- Operating and maintaining grounds‑maintenance machinery and hand tools safely.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks such as digging and lifting.
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
- Ability to use hand tools and power equipment safely.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable.
